Activity!

Today the crisp smell of frost was in the air and activity at the house matched that energy!

Upstairs Jeff, JR and Troy got an early start placing sheathing. Chad and crew from Architectural Metal Systems installed scaffolding and started installing roof panels on the south side of the house by nine. Russell Larson, Larson Well Drilling, arrived with his excavator to lay the pipe that will bring water from the well. And by midday, Solar Connection’s installation crew arrived to get ready for tomorrow’s work. They’ll follow on the heels of the roofers to use the same scaffolding, so there’s been some orchestrating going on.

Meanwhile, John talked with Ace Communications about bringing a phone land line from lot line to house. And while it’s been too cold to paint, Eric’s been watching weather from the sidelines, set to go when temperatures rise a bit.

There’s a lot to get done, and things are revving up!
