Plans

Our goal is a simple, functional house with room for family, friends, and the activities we enjoy. We work from home much of the time, so bright, quiet work spaces are essential. Good flow, openness, and some separation between a hard-working kitchen and main living space are incorporated. The gallery is our way of creating a graceful entry and space for art, books and recordings. Guests will sleep in media, studio and living rooms. We’ll be able to live on one floor if it’s ever necessary.

A long garage includes workshop, storm/root cellar with cistern, and a second floor activity room at its south end. A walk through this building accesses the garden east of the garage, and the root cellar is easily reached from the garden.
