Preparing for the garage slab

Randy Koball and crew arrived on site today to finish filling, tamping and laying rebar for the garage slab. In the cellar, under the south end of the garage, they built framing for the floor, about half of which will be poured; the remaining floor will be filled with gravel to allow a more natural flow of temperature and humidity to support our use of the space as a root cellar for food storage.
