Connecting through Zola

If it’s not art, you don’t typically find me raving about stuff. I’m not much of a shopper and I like to spend my time gathering and connecting with people, getting outdoors, or digging into projects. But I have to say that we are wowed by our windows and doors.

Many times during the past few weeks, as contractors and visitors have come and gone from the house, I’ve seen them pass through the door, pull it shut, then turn around to open and close it one more time. The door makes a soft, sure “click” as it closes. It’s smooth…and tight. When locked, three to five latches move out to tightly seal the opening.

So when the folks at Zola asked to feature our project on their blog and in their monthly newsletter, we agreed. Connections with people and the opportunity to be part of a movement of new building practices for comfortable living and smart energy use has been one of the most rewarding parts of this project.

Here’s the story!
